You had no doubt who was who! As in which character was clearly speaking while he was reading, you didn't even have to think. I think he was excellent, I was initially concerned to be honest hearing his initial monotone droning, but after 10 minutes oh boy did that all make so much sense as he unleashed all the accents and different characters he bought to life, he was incredible. Which character – as performed by Mark Deakins – was your favourite? I will admit though the made up language annoyed me but I understand why it was done. There is a lot of trash out there but to me these were exceptional and really stood out. Once I finish one lot I will find another one, but the maze Runner trilogy, is still to date, my favourite in this (YA genre) including audiobooks. I know there are lot of great classics that preceded this influx of dystopian/Sci-fi genre and they were amazing, but books at this calibre (YA) were very few and far between in the 80's and not widely available to read en masse like today.I'm well into my 40s now and backtracking to read all of these incredible novel's, and regardless of what other people think, this trilogy in particular is very smart, intelligent and extremely well written. It's probably one of my favourite audiobook/ trilogies that I've read to date. Where does The Maze Runner rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far? Where were these amazing books when I was young?
